My Sunday morning favorite! I make these every weekend for brunch with different mix-ins.

Ingredients
2 1/2 Cups | All-Purpose Flour |
2 Tbs | Baking Powder |
1 Tsp | Salt |
1/2 Cup | Cold & Cubed Unsalted Butter (I like to keep my butter in the freezer) |
1 Cup | Buttermilk* |
2 Tsp | Honey |
* If you don't have buttermilk (let's be serious, who just happens to have buttermilk lying around) Grab your measuring cup, add 1 Tbs of distilled vinegar and then fill the rest of the way to the 1 Cup mark with milk. Let it sit for a few minutes and it'll turn to buttermilk!
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 425 °
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt
3. Add the cubed butter into the bowl and cut the butter into the dry ingredients with a pastry cutter, food processor, or your hands. Make sure the butter is evenly spread throughout.
4. Make a well in the center, and pour the buttermilk and honey into it. Stir until combined, the dough should look like crumbly, shreds.
5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and form it into a square about 1/2 inch thick
6. Fold the left side to the center, then fold the right side to meet it in the center. Then fold the bottom up to the center, and the top to meet the bottom in the center. Flatten back out to a square, and then repeat the folding process.
7. Roll the dough out to approximately 3/4 inch thick and cut into circles. (I used the top of a glass until recently lol) Arrange the biscuits on a greased baking sheet. The edges of the biscuits should be lightly touching to promote movement upward.
8. Place in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until they are golden on the tops.
